If the scope can measure frequency, using markers on screen, ie 76.12 mhz yes, it would get him in the ballpark. the numbers range from 40-90 Mhz.
You have a much nicer scope then I do......
The scope would help him figure out which colors the builder tied together as it only has RGB inputs from the ADAT.
I'll call NEOS right nw and see if I can get the switch settings, mine are listed in terms of MHZ, because I'm a RF dude and asked for it that way. There is a little port on the back that outputs a sample of the RF, you just hook a counter to it. OK, I got the settings for the course switches. The fine ones get set with a power meter or grating for best power.
Help him align for good 488, 514, 647 performance, I showed him how to do it a few weeks ago, then fill in the blank channels using the table below.
He does have working manual overide switches for each channel.
I may have to fly on company business this weekend, so I dont know yet....
