    Default Firmware upgrades for QM2000.net

I've got an older Pangolin QM2000 board that I'd like to use in Pangolin's nifty QM2000.net set up. Pangolin states that boards with serial numbers lower than 7400 will not work with the network adapter without "modification." After reading posts regarding the topic both here and elsewhere on the intertubes, it seems that some people have sent their older QM2000's to Pangolin for the firmware update which allows them to use QM2000.net. Has anyone here done this?

    Hi Robin,

I had to send mine in for the upgrade about 2 years ago. The turn around was very fast, they had it only a couple hours it seems and back in the mail it went, same day if I remember correctly. Received it back in a couple days with the .net board, which worked surprisingly well.

Thanks for the info. Now that it's 2010 I can finally get rid of that heavy docking station.

It will probably take a bit longer for you than it did for DZ based on your proximity to Pangolin compared to DZ...

    Hi Robin,

If you are located in North America, you send it to the Pangolin office in the USA. If you are located in Europe, you send this to Francesco Van Loon, who is our authorized service center for Europe and can give you quicker turn around with likely lower shipping costs and such...
