Thanks for the welcome Adam. I most certainly will ask plenty of questions! Daft though it might seem though I might not bring a camera......after dozens of years and thousands of frames I find it refreshing NOT to be looking at things through a lens. If I'm worrying about a picture I'm missing out on other things.

Greetings fellow laser enthusiasts.

Paul cheers for the heads up, I've been away from PL for a while now, mainly because I've been ripping down walls in my house to make bigger bedrooms and etc to make way for the new child (Due around 3rd May)

I'm well up for a Scotlem (obviously) and chuffed so many of our Southern brothers are keen for the journey.

Date wise, It's gonna need to be a bit after the birth of my second child, who even tho he is a he, will still be a little too young to come to a LEM just yet! (Did you say June Paul) ?

And kit wise, as I understand it - there is no three phase in this hall, so I'll just be bringing dpss - but other than that if power can be sorted I could bring my gasser. (Which would be fun, as I've still not managed to strike it since I got the thing!)

Broadband / Stream wise - I know everyone else has 3G, but I got it too.. twice on my Android (yeaaa not an iBone) and also got a Vodafone 3G stick.. so we should be covered.

If I talk nicely to my Mrs, perhaps I could give a few people a place to sleep, mind you remember we will be the house with the newborn - so if you don't mind being woken up at 3am for a feed.. then it's all good.

I'm probably an hour ish from Glasgee but cheaper than a hotel, plus my wife cooks a mean breakfast.

dont know at the moment .... im living one week to the next with my work ..... now done 4 weeks without a day off ..... so i think that by May ... i will either be dead or ... have some time off

To help people PLAN ahead im picking ***** JULY ***** for SCOTLEM ( date to be fixed - if anyone wants it NOT to be a partucular date in july let me know here or by PM please )

Now that i know theres enough people intrested I will maybe look at other venues , over next two weeks and fix things in place for everyone - the place i was in would do fine ( except not having 3 phase , with great local amenities and and decent part of glasgow - well just ouside )

I can get a local community centre in some the "schemes" in glasgow , but theres no guarantee any of us would make it out alive !

The line up for this years looking busy , sadly the only ones i think i would be able to make is Scotlem and possibly Surfleet in may.

MARCH - Leicester - its possible apprently and a goer if enough interest ( PM Rob )
MAY - Surfleet
JULY - SCOTLEM
Sept - Leicester ?
Dec - Likely surfleet i would imagine :-)
