Supposed to be indoors, so strong chance of effects..

Are there actually lasers there doing a show?

The 3rd video down on that page entitled "Olympic Preview Opening Laser show" shows some graphics projected onto the side of a building.

But then when you look at the mains beams that appear in the still of the video to be lasers, it looks as if they are actually conventional searchlights with coloured gel filters. I can see no sign of lasers other than the writing on the wall.

After the failed "mini" (indoor) flame lighting, they had a few beams shooting from right under the structure... it was perhaps under 2 seconds of lasers in all. That's all I saw though, but perhaps there were others. Everything else seemed to be projectors.
