hello everybody.

this is my first time I will building a laser.
Its not a prof. laser for 30.000 people, but its more for hobby etc you know.
I like simple text's and little beam shows.
I have a 500mW from viasho
and I have some questions:

I looking for a good scanset
a good dac - ilda breakout?
and a DMX board

can someone my give a good advice?

I have seen the laserworld LW-50K and the spacelas SP40K.
is this good? or anyone better ideas?

Please fill in your details as some of the forum members might be close to you and can give practical help, not only online.
Viasho 500mW is great, for scanners you might also contact Rob from Stanwax (if you're from NL/BE/UK) or else Marc from CT Lasers (if you are in the States...)
Both have excellent reputations on here.

welcome to the forum. Indeed, its sometimes hard where to start but i can give you some advice.

In generally for graphics you need faster scanners with graphics then with beamshows. Because you do only simple text and beamshows you i would choose for a 30kpps scanset. In that range you could choose for Dt-25 or scanpro 30. Laserworld are also a good option and MCcarrot here at PL has almost a brand new set for 200 euro,s.Just send him a pm and he can give you some good advice on other things. With a dac i would choose for an FB3 from Pangolin.
For hobbyists its the best deal for the buck. But in al things in live its what you can afford. I think its 500 dollars or something.
With the new quickshow its just what you need. Its almost unbelievable what you get for that kind of money.

It has dmx at least the OEM version.
