Firefox 3.6 sucks. now i have to write all text again, but i dont want.
so just: Did you use a Software where you can turn off the Point Optimizations?
no its crappy ishow and ishow DAC. Really is junk :-( dots appear on some of the ishow screens when animating, almost like i should be able to turn the dot to dot like points off but i cant. well i cant see a function to turn it off. Ishow software was never bug fixed, ie scanrate doesnt work on show edit page / can cantrol playback speed on show edit page of anything / convert segment to ILD loses color / movement variables/ leaves stationary bright dots on some animations and the dotted line thing on line movement.
Getting James(from laserboy forum) to make me a Soundcard DAC soon :-)
UPDATE: Spaghetti 1.9.1.7 works well now with ishow usb DAC, even fixes the dotted line issue I was having with I show, exact same animations play without brightspots too.

Yes, iShow is just mislabeled iCrap since the beginningheard much, very much shit about it...
Are you willing to make a new Video with Spaghetti maybe?
But i hope you get your S-DAC soon! thats my choose too
I have the same projector on its way to me. Based on what you are saying, and my need to stay "cheap", would I be good to buy iShow (for the DAC) and Spaghetti for the software? I can get iShow for $112 and Spaghetti for $50.
Hi ckilgore1, Xer0 is getting one of these delivered too. So we should be able to help each other with testing them/fine tuning.
At the moment I would say hold off on the ishow and either make yourself a soundcard DAC or look at getting a better DAC. I believe the ishow DAC makes my 30kpps scanners look like 10k ones, very flashy animation from it. I need to confirm once my soundcard DAC has been built and compare them. At the moment I cant even take a picture of the ilda test pattern with my camera as is is slow to redraw!
Thanks Gadget. I'm still very much a novice and stumbling over terminology. Your recommendation about making a soundcard DAC sounds good. Can you point me in a direction to go to do this? Are kits available? Also, are you satisfied with Spaghetti? I downloaded what I thought was a demo version of it, but when I tried to run it I was directed to a site to purchase it for $50. Am I missing something about the pricing . . . it seems too good to be true. Also, if I'm not comfortable with the idea of building a DAC, are you comfortable with making a recommendation of a reasonably priced one? Thanks again.
Ill PM you shortly!
