I have submitted forms to be included in the LaserFest this year celebrating 50 years of the laser
Danny Briggs sent me the info/forms to fill and will hopefully be bringing along some goodies to the May meet from the LaserFest organiser.
I have also today submitted the CAA Laser approval forms

Excellent.
It's a shame that doing a public display over the field behind the venue on one of the evenings is not practical as I think in theory this would be a great way to celebrate 50 years of the Laser.
How much of a headache would it be to organize an out door display for the public to watch? And would we have enough time to organize such an event between now and the meet in May.
As we are going to more than likely have CAA clearance, it would be nice to make the most of this.
Obviously if a public display was possible it would be a free event
I know it's not the first time this has been asked about but I'm sure there's enough sensible adults between us organize something.
Just a thought
