wow, looks like I could have published a paper from ILD SOS, doing similar things. Although there are a few things they have yet to consider.

Hehe. These guys keep forgetting to mention that LD2000 is the control system and that they routinely run shows with Showtime...

Interesting, so there is a version of LD2000 that uses a WE7000 DAC instead of QM2000? A mention in the 'drawing system' section would have been nice

One wonders what they are using for a fast Z axis as well.

No. I am sure they have uses a few things to control this over the years, but they mostly use LD2000. We've had numerous discussions with them, and at the tradeshow, it's Pangolin running the system (under the table)... It makes perfect sense that people would be doing things like this using our SDK since Boeing, DreamWorks and others do as well. I was amused to hear that they use LD2000 and Showtime directly...

They made it themselves but we've also discussed them using our device since ours is much faster and has a greater range of focus...

Bill, would this be the beam-brush device that you spoke about at SELEM last summer?

    Hi Adam,

Yes, we've reduced it from something the size of a coffee cup to someting the size of a few coins. It totally kicks ass! We're still working on the packaging and driving, but look for actual product for sale a bit later this year.
