Hi Guys - Just saying hello has I'm a new member.

Just purchased a 260mw RGY animation laser from Kam and trying to get to grips with it. Any help would be appreciated.

thankyou for saying hello and introducing yourself

unfortunately you did it in the laserfiles section .... so not many people will see it ... if you check out the forum structure you will see we have a lounge ... that usually the best place to chat (about anything)

when you get a moment .... fill out your profile so we can see who you are and what part of the world you are in ... also there have been a few threads on RGY projectors .... do a search and a wealth of knowledge should be brought to your screen ....

lot of knowledgable people here .... all willing to help

Welcome to PhotonLexicon. I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of assistance here. I'd like to echo Karl's post though and ask that you fill out your profile information so people know where you are located. That way if someone is close to you, it's easy for them to offer to meet with you in person to help. (Yeah, we do that sort of thing quite a lot around here!) While you can certainly learn a lot from the forums, there's nothing like a little one-on-one assistance in person when you're stuck with a problem.

Also, we do hold "Laser Enthusiast's Meetings" from time to time, all over the world, so if one is happening near you it would be a great opportunity for you to meet other laserists and soak up information. (You'll also get a chance to see some *great* equipment in operation!) Have a look in the "Laser Meet and Greet" sub-forum for more information about upcoming LEM's near you.
