Laser Warning Label Generator

Ran across this little tool not long ago. It's not all encompassing, but it'll generate CDRH-compliant labels based on the power, wavelength and type of laser. Covers most types of lasers including multiline argon, single-line Argon, HeNe, HeCd, Diode, DPSS. Good resolution, makes great labels on a good printer. Might be handy for some of the folks here..

For variance, are you required to put 3 stickers on an RGB projector, one for each wavelength? Or is it just a limitation of this tool that you can only specify one wavelength?

Only a single wavelength can be specified, but for multi-line argon lasers any specified wavelength will result in a sticker that states "457-515nm". The tool is still under development, so improvements will be made. I've been talking to the creator and hopefully Cu vapor, Kr, and whitelight labels will be added soon, along with the ability to specify output in Joules. Any other additions people may have can be posted here, I'll forward them on.

I'm no expert in CDRH regs, but I would think that a label for each laser in the system would have you covered for sure.
