    Default Glavo Mirrors

    Hi,

I've inherrited what was at one point a EULights.com (the no longer exist as far as I can tell) 150mW 252nm projector. It has an ATMEL controller and remote and has been "modified" by the previous owner! Anyway, I plan to experiment with this, but the X-Y Galvo mirrors have been broken off. I realise that attaching new ones is going to be tricky and maay never properly align but I would like to replace them so I can at least experiment.

Can anyone tell me where to buy replacement mirrors? I've attached a photo of the broken mirrors and mount.

FWIW I've got the processor running and can draw pretty pics on my scope. I plan to ditch the ATMEL control board and insert an ILDA interface. I think this uses single ended signals to drive the Galvo Amps so a bit of modding to do to get it working.

    Any help appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Keith

Hi Keith, i've got a pair of scanner mirrors spare, they came as spares with the scanners i bought. you'll notice that the one has been broken off though, but they're more than ok to learn with!

the one inside the package hasn't been taken out, and the scratches you can see are on the surface of the plastic.

not sure how much these are worth though so i'll leave that up to you. i can even post them today if you're quick enough to reply
