UK laser meet

Are there any plans in the near future to organise a UK laser meet?

i was wondering too as there is nomally one in feb , i am in need of a good photon fix

i believe there is something in the pipeline but it wont be in feb

All that's required for a LEM is for like minded individuals to get together with some equipment.
If you've got the venue then we've got the equipment......

Yeah, like andy said, there's some stuff in the pipeline (mentioned in the UKLEM 5.5 photos thread) but it probably won't be as soon as next month.

There was talk of a nightclub, and I might have an idea of a few places in Reading that would be able to do it, but nothing's concrete yet

The club is called CLUB ICE (used to be Reflections)

Its in a town called Westbury in Wiltshire about 8 miles south of the City of Bath which isnt too far from you !

The website is www.club-ice.com but is way out of date. There are some laser pictures on that site but the facebook page has loads on it!
Mainly pictures from my 8 watt argon unit and a video of my laserscopes. All m y own build and work.

The main room (1 of 5) has 1200 capacity with a 12 metre ceiling height. This place is ideal for a meet and has CAA permission for sky laser projection

I am in charge of all techinical aspects of the place including sound, lighting and lasers.

I could allocate a private room for displays/camping/sleeping and also has an onsite restaurant... A massive laser show for the saturday night public in the main room would be fantastic. !

All free of charge of course !

Club ICE sound good is it easy transport like trains from london etc etc?

just got to think about things like that.
