    Looks great Marc -
makes it tempting to take you up on the offer to finish "Jolly Green" for me!!

Quick question on your custom builds -
Are you switching AC to the power supplies directly with the key switch, or using a relay?

I've decided I'm going to simplify as much as possible, while still keeping it "legal" for possible future commercial endeavors...

    Thanks!

    thanks guys! Much appreciated.

Just a simple 5V bi-polar actuator (i dont remember the make. sorry) and an aluminum flag. No i didn't make the bracket/flag. OSLS does them.

    Hey Randy-

Send jolly green t me. Ill get it all together for ya.

I have AC direct to key switch direct to power supplies. never used a relay in any system of mine or any that i built. Not needed. (IMO).

Keep everything as simple as possible. It will make things much easier in the filed.
Oh, and sorry, i forgot to respond to your PM the other day.

The shutter circuit is a simple 5V P.S. wired in series with my remote "emergency red mushroom switch" (NC switch) back to the actuator and flag for the laser. If its a club install, i also put a key switch on the remote box also. It isnt needed. but the clubs need as many "lock outs" as practical. This way if the laser is energized, computer on and everything reeady to go no unauthorized people can lase a show.

    Thanks for the info, Marc!

I'm looking to keep the RGB upgrade (I suddenly seem to have some extra red on hand ) & "Jolly Green" as simple as possible!

I have another question for you Marc -

Does the use of allen-head or "torx" screws to fasten the panels negate the need for a case lid interlock, or is that even a requirement now?

    Thanks!

    Default WHAT?

Are you serious? You are actually going to let a customer get a projector with the power supply's mounted above the laser with zip ties? What happens when they fall down on everything below? No good.....
