Seattle is a great place to live. You have to overlook the gloomly weather though, drives some people nuts. Folks are nice here but sorta keep to themselves, so it's not the best place for meeting gals unfortunately. Portland is better place for meeting people. It's still cheap enough to live there that there is a good influx of young people in the city and they have a good arts, tech, outdoors, etc.

Evidently Kenosha has spiraled downhill quite a bit since I left. Admittedly I haven't been there since my Navy days though, so I guess that's what I get for thinking that it wouldn't change. But back in the 80's, Kenosha was a fun town. (And it sure was a lot safer than northern Chicago, which was the only other hot spot available to anyone stationed at Great Lakes...)
Any chance of you being able to re-locate to someplace in the south? (Someplace without snow?)
