    Default Excel Control Lasers For Sale

    My brother sent me some information on some lasers that came out of a closed factory (industrial stuff) and before he chucks the stuff wanted to know if anyone is interested:

    He has
    (2) Excel Control Laser Stylus Heads
    20 Watt CW 10.5knm - 10.7knm (IR CO2 Tubes??)
    Attached to the ends of the enclosures are the galvos mounted in line with optics.
    Each head has (2) Cambridge 6450 galvo's & mirrors and mounts
    I assume there is blanking of some sort but have not taken the heads all the way appart (very heavy duty die cast enclosures)
    (1) Power Supply with controls. (I have not looked at the insides yet to see if the galvo boards are in there)

    Galvo's are, 2ms small angle response time (slow) but accurate and mirrors.

    He might have the other power supply but still trying to locate it.

    This is industrial stuff located in SW Michigan.

    Any Interest or just chuck it???
    I have pictures if there is any interest. (PM for them, Don't want to waste bandwidth)

    Are they worth anything?

    I would also be interested in a set of the galvos with controller boards etc

    would just want one set, not both

    I also sent a PM a few days ago! I would love to have a spare unit for my CNC-machine if these are ok. I do not need outer casing, PSU, drivers, galvos just the black Synrad unit and maybe the focus lens.
