Default WTB - PSU to power an ALC60 head please

    As title

It's the head I have put up a thread about a while ago about selling it but have decided now to keep it and try and get it running.

An ALC60 psu is prolly gonna be hard to find so you may wanna look inte similar ones for other brands, or if you feel brave enough, building one yourself.

Such psu is more or less just a huge current regulator.

I designed one and is yet to built it but as im not certified i cannot allow anyone to use my schematics, but you can take a look at sams laser faq on the argon laser psu schematics there.

    Thanks for the reply

I want to buy rather than build as with two young kids I just don't have the time spare.

Even if you buy a psu, you still need an ignitor, as that is mounted in the head, i have a laserdrive ignitor for sale that should work. I used it on my argon tube before i got the sp161b housing which included the ignitor.

Now it prolly doesent have the same bolt pattern as the one that originally came with the alc head, but that shouldent be very hard to fix.
