In Simon's setup, are there springs in the mirror mounts ?
Or is it just 3 screws and an allen key bolt for the pressure ?
Those mounts look nice and would love more info.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

    Default mirror mounts

    @ hobbybob
there no springs, there are three allen bolts for pulling and two grub screws inbetween for pushing
i will try to take you a pic when i get home from work
they are very good mounts and stable when used correctly

In fairness, Pat only released the quad kit a few months ago. Thus, he's sold a few of them so far. Apparently those early adopters are working on other projects at the moment. Give it some time...

As far as them being "a joke", nothing could be further from the truth. Several people have built quads, even before Pat released his version. I have a quad red sitting on my workbench right now, waiting to be installed in a new projector. (Thanks to MechEng3!) As to when that projector will be finished, however, I have no idea. I've got lots of other projects in the works that are competing for my time.

You can see some pictures of my working setup here too... Working very nice, very tight beam and low divergence! 1.2W 660nm on double TEC (yeah I know, that's pushing the diodes a little).

The TEC driver wasn't finished and was a prototype, I am building now an external TEC + diode driver...
