Sounds like the noise a crow makes but slowed down. And that's certainly something you here nearly every day if not every day.
How about the top of a tin can, set spinning, and then stopped by someone pushing down in the center of the top while it's spinning?

I'd say it's a very hot pan being flushed by water, drop by drop, at incresing drop rate.

Can also be a hot oil drained by drop into wet sink.

The amplified sound of an electrical switch being energised or switched off...like a light swicth that will have some arcing before the contacts are fully made or broken. Only way this was discovered is that during the Star Wars original film was on screen...we recorded the noises of the guy wires being tapped or struck with a tool to imitate the shots fired sounds..the amplitude of the sound travelling up and down the wire... back when we were searching for how sounds were made for it.
