    Cool Yay me!

Yesterday I recieved my certificate for the JSTD standards, making me a "Certified IPC Specialist" on paper as well as in practice, certifying that I'm qaulified to assemble, maintain and repair class 1-3 (anything from toys to military hardware and life-critical equipment) electronics.

It's an international joint industry standard with a LOT of different modules. The combination of modules I took made me certified for assembling and soldering Class 1-3 (not 4, which is space-stuff but there's modules for that as well) electronics. It's fun to learn about stuff you thought you knew before. I was pretty damn sure I was really good at soldering before I took this cert. -Now I know I wasnt, but that I am nowadays!

Hand soldering 100-pin smd's is a fun test
