Value check: sp161b argon laser

How much is a Spectra Physics 161B-070 Argon Ion laser head without the jones connector on the umbilical worth ?

Sometime this spring im moving to a place of my own and as i have very little money im gonna have to sell some stuff, i have two poweramps worth $1000 US each and the argon head, i dont wanna sell either but i have no other choice.

So how much could i expect to get for the argon head ? I paid $334 US for it including shipping but have seen them on ebay for like 800 bucks + shipping so i feel it should be worth more than i paid.

When i bought it, it was listed as new tube but with a very long shelf life which means reduced output power, but that i´ve been told can be reversed with some hours of run time.

So this laser head isent worth anything ? I did expect someone to post a reply with what it could be worth but i guess there is no value left in it.

No its worth something!! I would try to list them on ebay or something.

your laser is totally worth something! you have to sell it as-is, but with the claim that it was new when you got it, but has the storage life you said, to get a decent price out of it
