Placement of DT40W Scanner head
Hello everyone !! I have been in the process of modifing Projector#1 and one of my final tasks is to attach the DT40W Scanner head to my optical platform level.
My worry is that the VERTICAL projection geomerty may be such that the projection image may not clear the front edge of my optical platform. Moving the Scanner block and three (3) Dichro set forward...closer to the edge of the optical platform... would give much more clearance for the beam path.
I have room to do this movement....but...I would prefer not to unless necessary....My optical platform ALLREADY has several " Extra " holes in it.....from past "learning curves"
My RGB beam path offset is currently 10 cm back from the edge of the optical platform edge. The RGB beam path height is 36.9 mm elevated from the optical platform plane.
Yes...I could always rotate / adjust the vertical galvo unit .....and this may work....but would mean that the scanner heads would always " Project up "...This COULD be a pain in the ass ?? or maybe not ??
OK...then....Help me out here.....anybody who is currently swinging the beams with a DT-40W...what is the max. VERTICAL scan angle of the DT-40W's ??......If it is also 85 degree....I may be movin alot of optics around !!!! I want every single photon out the front end....Thanx

Reason: offset distance wrong
