Default Pricing Advice - Laser Modules

    Hi,

I have a friend that wants to sell some laser modules but isn't sure at what price level to pitch them.

The modules are Laserworld (ok no flaming needed).

    There's a 100mw green (cold) that peaks at 120mw warm - I thought maybe £100

and a 650nm red that peaks around 547mw warm - Ihaven't a clue on this but thought £200+ and maybe as much as £300-350.

Both units are TTL and test hours only ie. 2-3 hours total.

Any (sensible non flaming) suggestions as to their pricing?

    Are the modules CNI??

Laserworld doesnt have the problem of having bad laser modules. they have the problem of having a 100mW Laser module and selling it as a 7 Watt Module! lol.

If these are CNI modules, let u sknow model #'s. this should help with the pricing. I would not associate the modules with Laserworld though.

Unfortunately I don't have the modules to hand to check.

They are the ones that were in the projector I had but never used apart from a couple of quick tests but myself and Jem measured a peak of 120mw (100mw cold) on the 532 and a peak of 547mw on the 650nm with his Coherent Laser Check. The red was probably more but being a fat beam on 650nm some of it missed the Coherent's sensor so thats the practical reading.

I think the guys going to put them on ebay as I know they won't really appeal to anyone on here as everyone wants analogue to build an RGB and these are TTL. Trouble is I don't know what lasers of this power at TTL are worth. I'd have thought £100 or so for the green and a few hundred for that power red but don't really know enough to advise him properly.
