All I need is a 488nm and a 593nm to have the full set... Drool.....

QM2000's are definitely the way forward for me, expensive but they work so well, with the minimum of fuss.. So worth the extra expense...

Yellow is a benefit when trying to do non scanning effects, and also with the day adapted eye, which is more sensitive towards the yellow. RGB on yellow lumia is a mainstay of the planetarium industry, as DSLI-JON will tell you..

I remember reading that the new FB3 (QS) will have 6 colour channels. And 120K scanning if you look at http://www.lasertech-canada.com/Pang...r_Products.php

I stand corrected then. I'm sure there's a post on here which mentions (wrongly) that Marc has a 200mw yellow in his projector as well as the 2 blues.

Nevermind, still an interesting find though and it would be interesting to run a test and see what difference it makes even if only to confirm Tockets colour theory that for lasers its not beneficial. After all many of us thought that for 405nm before people started experimenting and discovering that it helped make a better white.

The news on the new FB3 is news to me but sounds very interesting (and useful) if true.

Yes it's true. We had an FB3-QS with us at the Frankfurt Prolight & Sound and I used it to create a short video on YouTube tonight (I suppose it will look best if you go Full Screen):

We'll be releasing it as soon as we get some built up in production.

    @ Bill

It looks like QS has developed quite a lot since the release that I have.

I have requested a newer version via the web contact sheet.
