I use a Novation Remote Zero SL with a touchscreen and laptop. Does everything I need... The Novation doesn't have so many buttons, but you don't need to use it for launching cues, so my buttons are mapped to multipliers on the speed controls in LivePro.
Just to be clear here, the idea of running LivePro on two screens is that you can set it up to have just the cue grid on the touchscreen and everything else on the MIDI Desk.
The ultimate control solution is the JL Cooper MCS3800, with a Pangolin Lasershow Performer console. But this solution is big bucks...
This picture is in the LivePro directory on the Pangolin install CD, along with suggested mappings.
But as Jem says, you should get whatever works best for you. Each laserist creates shows in a different way and therefore has different control needs...
