    Thanks Ben!!

EDIT: The laser seems to stabilize at TEM01/TEM02. Definitely not single transverse mode...

Hmmm,,,, I got mine last week. Packaging was inadequate. The driver had a bunch of bent pins and a snapped off cap which I repaired. The laser has the output of lumia glass. May I suggest you take the 5 minutes and package items correctly. (Note the way I packaged your shipment, that took 45 minutes because I care.) Using some anti-static protection on bare components would also be advised.

Notice the post office did not ever scan this package as delivered even though the buyer (pat) clearly received it

Sure, you can buy unguaranteed, untested units that may or may not do 5mW for cheap, or you can spend extra and get one that is tested and guaranteed to make 10mW.

How many have you purchased that you weren't able to crank up to your satisfaction?

too bad, this didnt need to happen.

Evil try to remove the cruddy window feedback pickoff thing, and recheck you readings, the first unit i checked had bad step wedging from this lousey optic, after its removal i had a nice
TM00 with an easy/20% more power too ................

Thanks for the advice but that's the first thing I tried. No, I think there is a burn spot on one of the crystals. You can see the "lumia pattern" move and them stabilize after it's warmed up.

It's running a stable TEM01 right now, but it occasionally shifts towards TEM02:

Do you have any that maintain TEM00?
