Pop the hood, take pics, lets see if its the NEC glass/ceramic tube or the Lexel style beo.

NEC did considerable research into argons, and dominated the Japan/Asia market for a while., you probably have a very good 2-5 watt head there.

I've seen the glass one, it runs off a Lexel like analog psu. really good quality PSU, head was OK.

Most commercial argon technology came out of the same US Air Force 5 watt laser program study, many tubes in a given size class have very similar properties, and are somewhat interchangable with care and expert help.

Gotta see internal pics b4 I can help you. Pretty good chance it will work too.

hey bro, thanks for the info,it says 15w cw , but 5 is heaps im going to take a closer look , i would love to fire it, but i think i would enjoy stripping it down, and trade off or sell parts for reasonable prices, im in taiwan so shippng would cost, but maybe someone would like bits?

    just more interested than profit.

i searched extensively but there is little info pertaining to this model, but enjoyed sam's lasers faq about argons,( i have a few 6w rgb and other 1500rgb's i have built)

as is what would be a fair price to offer the guy (it came in used electronics container)?

15W is the label wattage, it's several times greater than the actual wattage. Always is.

And if those two other lasers with the DB25 connectors on the back are what I think they are (metrology interferometer HENES) get a email into Sam Goldwasser right now...

Man, if we can teach you how to shop, you have a new biz sending us stuff to the states.

    That ion is 50$ untested.
