Ok, Here is the proof for the dingbat who keeps saying it can't be done. The factory did it !!!!

Of course no mirror details are given, so bummer, you can't copy it. And yes, this is a SP124 type tube.

Quick summary..

40 mW of 633, 4 of 594, and 2.5 of 543 and a note that 594 was not optimized. 2 mm Bore, 1.5 torr optimal for the yellow, 1.1 torr for the green, 7:1 ratio for the green. Both lines prefer lower currents and green does not like the magnetic field usually used for Zeeman supression in red. Problems of with lack of supression of 3.39u competition are indicated.

My guess is a multi-line HeNe tube... Red (632.8 nm), yellow (594 nm) and green (543 nm).

This is related to getting other lines from 124 henes. This was not exactly a fully engineered test, but it worked. One line at a time in the tests, unless you count the IR competition that comes in some cases in henes.

yes i remember him being president, but it was after I left in 1984. We sat together on a plane trip once from baltimore CLEO. He is a very down to earth fellow. Dave had a soul patch long before Nirvana made it cool
