    Mark,

Very nice...the hat looks cool as well.

Mind telling us the details on the lasers used in these shots? Wavelength and power? I'm curious.

    Thanks,
    Greg

    Hey Greg,

Sure, I don't mind telling you what's in the box...

    Kvant 600mw @ 640nm - Actual power = 650mw
    Lasever 600mw @ 532nm - Actual power = 850mw when it feels like it
    CNI 200mw @ 473nm - Actual power = 300mw
    Kvant 500mw @ 445nm - Actual power = 480mw

The lasers are running on 4 colour channels off the QM2000...

So the Lasever is the white elephant... When it starts it does around 550mw and after 15 minutes stabalises at 850mw. At least it does in my house. but when it gets to a gig where the temperature is not so warm it is very unstable.. So if I do 15 mins of green effects and then move to white, I get a perfect white, but if I then go on to do blue effects, the laser seems to cool off and my lovely white becomes a pale violet (lovely colour, but not the right colour)... So looks like I am going to have to bite the bullet and replace it with a 1 watt Laserwave... This projector needs 850mw of green to balance out...

    Thanks Mark....

Looks like an ~2 watt projector does a nice job. Good to know.

    Default Great photos

I love those crisp beams and am jumping out of my skin waiting for my first projector to arrive for show. Where was the show at?

    Mark-

Looks great man! Beautiful colors. I think the additional color channel is more impressive than overall more power! very nice!
