i just want to say thanx to all here at the PL forum. this has been a priceless resource for info. i just had a eureka moment today with a problem that has plagued me for months and months. turns out the reason only 1 of our comps would run the scanners proper was it had c-media drivers already installed, but still only 2ch out
so we were only able to use ld1k and lasermax(both softs lack color and blanking). it was absolutely driving me nutz trying to figure out why a 'puter w/only 400mb of memory and a p.o.s. onboard soundcard was working better than a brand new unit with an addon soundblaster platinum and 1gb memory. ... abtholutely nut'th i thay!!
