Default Help me void my warranty

I bought a blue 473 from laser Ben & now Im all ready to dig into the electronics to see if I can turn up the power on the unit *a little bit*,maybe 5 milliwatts. anyone know what the pots inside are connected to specifically? theres 5 white pots under the top controller board. im sure that there are ones that run the peltiers and ones to control the crystals and one for the diode current. which one is the diode current? and which ones are the peltiers and which ones are the ovens? or crystal temp stabilizers?
Ive modded the power supply and heatsink assembly to fit inside a gutted computer power supply case, yet have kept the fan to draw any heat from the controller board and power supply. I also removed the aluminum plate that the controller was attached to and machined a heatsink from an old peltier mini fridge to attach to the controller base plate.
all assembled and running for three days straight, there is a *tiny* amount of temperature increase coming off of the output fan. An awesome kludge that makes the setup more durable.

is that the actual driver? looks just like a 5v power supply to me... there should be a diode driver somewhere no?

With those 10mW lasers, you can try taking off the optical feedback unit on the front of the laser and taping its holes dark, that should cause the controller to ramp the diode drive up to the maximum set point. You're not going to get decent modulation out of that thing without further modifications.

Which version of the LDTEC driver do you have? There are 2 versions, 4 and 5.

Look at my post at the bottom:

I took a couple pics of the 2 different versions. One version only has 3 pots so this may help decipher what's what.
