First outing over the weekend for my freshly rebuilt projectors, now with added 445!!

    Each projector is about 1.5W total (~450mW 532nm, ~380mW 640nm, ~600mW 445nm)

Unfortunately it was outdoors so wasn't too sure what to expect from it. I'll let you judge for yourselves...

Thanks, I wasn't too sure we'd even be able to use them. I only had a single fogger with me, and a 18" fan, but as the evening drew in the wind dropped and it looked like a posibility. Later in the morning (3-4am or so) we also got a little bit of mist which showed them up ok - not very bright but enough to see by.

The other worry was that when I arrived I found out that the land bordered a fairly major airfield..... :S

Luckily the stage was quite high and the land facing it rose slightly so we were able to terminate below the horizon. Had to have a word with a guy about his laser pointer shining up into the sky though, after we'd gone to the trouble of keeping the projectors under control!

    Norty-

Looks EXCELLENT man! (sorry, i know you hate when i capitalize words. lol...but deal with it! )

seriously, systems looked great. amazing what "only 1.5W" can actually look like.

    Congrats!

Yep, although it's 'only' 1.5W it does use the most efficient wavelengths and beam sizes to get the most out of them. I can't wait to get them in an enclosed space and see how they look inside.
The other nice thing about being outside was it gave me a chance to really test my far field alignment (which was about the same as the nearfield, so everything is just about dialled in right )

They also look fairly well colour balanced to each other which is good because I've messed around with the greens recently swapping one out for a slightly higher power one, and its really evened up the yellows between them

Oh yeah, and all in a box about 300x150x250
