acetic acid 24%
and
citric acid (powder)


wich is the best for the purpose?



i also found this thing called "röd-pri"
that contains:
citric acid <2%
phosphoric acid <25%

Dilute acetic acid is best.. Dilute that 25% 2:1 or 3:1

Remember , pour acid into water, never water into acid. Not that it matters with vinegar, but its still good practice.

I'd try the vinegar first and see if that works. Agree with Steve - dilute 2:1 with water and go for it.

If that doesn't work, then try the "röd-pri". Phosphoric has a higher affinity for calcium, so it will be better at dissolving the lime deposits, but the salt that it forms (calcium phosphate) is not very soluble in water, so it may be more difficult to flush the gunk out.
