    i just got a reply on the price of these diodes and £269.00 each
    i can get 3 640nm 150mw diodes for that
    think i will give it a miss till they come down a bit in price

    Are the prices for the 640 diodes still dropping?

    They don't have a pattent on the mounts, but on the method to stack the beams.

    Mmm your right but all the big companies use the same method and personally i dont think there is another way. I think they allow it because they do bussiness with eachother.

    RGB and Kvant both stack beams, use a cube to combine two sets of beams and use lens to combine those beams into one smaller beam.

    but how do we know if they dont have some kind of agreement with arctos?

    arctos patent is only pending so...

    Just put your design in a box and don't show it. I doubt if Arctos or any other manufacturer will purchase a module from you only to see whats inside.

    Or better put it in a projector
