The Le-maitre uses (as you do Jem) genuine le-matre fluid - in the gigs we have used it at we have not noticed this sort of thing - even in my garage which was choking with the haze off it set to its lowest setting. I agree there was a lot of gunge on windows etc but in the past I always have come back from Surfleet with a sticky film on everything thats been out in that big room. Its clearly from haze/fog but maybe a combination of them all.
I beleive we had at least 3 different haze/fog machines over the course of the weekend - could be any or all.

It wont be the Unique, as its a water based hazer. Its going to be a oil cracker..

Dave, none of the hazers we used at Surfleet were oil based... The mystery continues

Probably a silly question with all those hazers down there but did anyone used canned smoke for any reason eg for a laugh or a quick boost to their own projector? I know its often an aerosol of vegatable oil and from experience it makes a right mess. I used Maplin's canned smoke once and had to spend a day cleaning every single surface in the bedroom I'd used as everthying had a thin layer of oil on it.

Guys, my machine was running this weekend and it's not a hazer. Having said that, i've run it at home in the garage nearly continuously for 3 hours next to the projector with nothing left on the output window
Could it be possible that the fog and haze were reacting.

I also noticed that the stuff i had put alongside the wall felt damp.
The ink of the print on the FB3 box had "run" like non-waterproof inkjet ink and also felt a bit damp. Previous meets i cannot remember that i felt like that ?
    I didn't fail !

Unfortunately I don't have the list of door prize winners. I believe Jem wrote them all down and I am hoping he still has the sheet with all the winners on it as I simply can't remember who they where
I remember a few but without knowledge of all of them, I don't think it's fair to announce the few I do remember.

Altogether a great weekend and a BIG heartfelt THANK YOU to all that attended and made it so!

The next one is booked for the 1-2-3rd of April 2011 but.......

We have to pay up front for the Surfleet venue now.

It's still £250.00 with the gallery for the weekend so if there are any people willing to add to the pot before hand to get it paid for, it will be greatly appreciated.
Jem has already offered an amount to add but I won't disclose this until he has OK'd me saying.

Again, thanks for all that you all did.

    Hi Jim,

I am willing to pay upfront as well, if you disclose any payment details.
I could also put it into your account directly. For that i need BIC and IBAN number, place where the bank is located and the name in which the account is (if you PM me i'll pay).

When i left the ship last monday i already took an option to reserve room 3 in the Ship, for 31st of March until 4th of April 2011..... hahaha....
