    At first glance it looked like an o-like module, but has a different pattern of grooves... Driver looks like a flexmod.

    No, it is his module, his driver, and a 3 element glass lens.

    It is just a big diode for input reverse protection. I asked the same question.

    Can anyone suggest a sutiable size, in Watts and or Physical size, for a Peltier TEC to cool 2x of these 1Watt 445's in the same block?
    I am thinking of an RS order for the TEC and using one of Robins Die4TEC controllers.

    Thanks

    It depends on how hard you're planning to drive them.

    1W out = +- 900mA based on the specs and they run at 4,1V

    That's 4W in and 1W out => 3W heat

    Thanks.

    Just ordered a 30x30 @ 37W - 5-16v Tec. That should do the job.

    Well, I spent $475 on this diode (and others), so I'd like to recover close to that. Offers are also OK. The thing connected to the red cable is a schottky diode, for reverse power protection.

    Dear innolasers a.k.a. fhqwhgads!, don't you think US $1,190.00 are a little too much for this?

    I have about $3500 to recover in diode purchases. Just a few days ago you would not have asked that. So lay off. You have no reason to post that other than to cause trouble.
