If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Has anyone done a spatial profile on these natively? Does anyone have a beam profiler who can do one? We have lots of toys but that is not one...

While it wasn't done with a profiler, this pic of the uncorrected diode output from over on LPF shows the beam cross-section quite well and it ain't too shabby really (this diode is from an A130 projector):

May I suggest this I took a few hours ago?

If you look closely in person, the diode spirals in a "racetrack" fashion. They are not separate rings. It is one long line.

    Just ordered a 30x30 @ 37W - 5-16v Tec. That should do the job.
How about a TEC controller anyone? That will run this TEC please?
I have tried getting in touch with Robin (Die4) and had no reply as of yet.... I am an impatient bugger so wondered if there are any others out there handy that people are using?
