    Could you power it up and measure the output power and measure the current before you harvest the diodes.

    Yeah - different threshold though ?

    However I think the ebay guy ripped one of the 2500 lumen units apart. That would explain why he was so shady on details on what they were, because he didn't really know!

    Oh well. Kudos to the guy for being so fucking smart.

    I have mine running at 600ma and am getting 480mw out.
    I will let it run for a while and see if it stays stable.

    Hey Chad!
    Please keep us posted on your findings. I'd like to see your test continue for 160 hours or so if you are willing to pull that off. If it survives that, Could you run a 500Hz modulation test on it peak to peak? Yes, I'm asking you to try and kill your diode... LOL!

    Also, Do these Casio projectors have a "class IV laser product" warning sticker on them? What about a key lock and interlock loop???? Now, I know after the lens the divergence changes the eye hazard greatly. But still... How the hell do they get away with this????????
