    This is fu##@g GREAT!

For this price i will take 10!!!

I have the high quality blue collimator in backorder, just waiting for the package to get in. SRS will be testing this lens, on some other people also purchased my lenses for these diodes.

I can also supply special designed lenses for blue but they will be even more expensive.

the best way to shape the beam is use the cylindrical lenses with the standard quality collimator. the advantages of cylindrical lenses compared to prism is lower loss and a straight beam path.

Hmmm... Not sure I quite get this.

Are there 24 blue diodes in each one of those projectors then? if so, what is the power of each individual diode? Are they polarised, can two be combined with a PBS? what is the divergence likely to be?

I may be in on this if someone could build a working piece of kit for me (for a fee of course )

    Cheers

and a decent driver, the die4laser driver only goes up to 1amp.
They are definitely strongly multimode. Collimation will not be that easy. One needs more than just one lens, for example one lens and two prisms or one lens and two cylindrical lenses. Alternatively using one long focal length lens and just waste some parts of the beam at the galvo mirrors might be an option. The projector itself contains collimation lenses as well, maybe these are also usable.
1 Amp is more than enough I think they should not need more than 600mA.

Hopefully they are not 'dud' beam and power-wise. But I'm happy to give it a go if we can get enough interest...?
