    You da man!

Now see how long it lasts 130mW DVD diodes will run for a couple of days at 250mW so it really needs a good burn-in and survival before we get too excited

Sod it, I'm just enjoying the fact I can probably get 700mW without having to recourse to anything more exotic that some heatsinking and maybe a fan....

Very, very cool indeed.... It's just starting to hit home quite what a game changer this is!

Damn im so happy right now that i waited with my plans for building a projector
So 445nm blue is bright enough to make blue only projector?

I Believe it is, although it would be interesting to see if this diode has the propper beamspec to work with some galvos. It will probably not be a problem with the correct optics but how much would they be?

I know 405nm Blurays and the Aixiz module and lens are NOT working very well in a projector, 1-3meters away it looks ok but after 5meter its useless. and you could use a violet flashlight instead. Althouhg as i said this was with Aixiz lens, so someone has probably done better with some propper optics.

ANd the big question. Will these new 445 diodes work to combine? or perhaps even a Quad-setup?

Yes, but I think that's really not so good that we all think. Just don't expect to make money any more with laser show business, from now... Every DJ will soon have their own 6W RGB laser projector, buyed on eBay for cheap

Chad, thank you for taking the time and risking your diode! (Congratz on breaking the W barrier with a 5,6mm diode )

I have only one question, which lens are you using for your experiments?
