    Anyway - put me down for 2x blue lasorbs!
    I would recommend to short the two pins of the diode before LASORB is attached to it.
    As soon as LASORB is on the laser diode there is no need to shorting the two pins together.

    As soon as LASORB is on the laser diode there is no need to shorting the two pins together.
    leaving the pins shorted would be the most efficient protection, indeed, but the diode would not emit much

    Question will it be cost effective for US members to get in on this?

    I need some Lasorbs, but would getting them from Pangolin be easier since they're on this side of the ocean? What do you say, Francesco?

    Hi adam, I can ship the LASOROBs to the States without any problems. Shipping would be just a dollar more expensiver than shipping inside the EU. I expect we will get 100+ LASORBS in total what means that the price will be around $5. When you will order them in the Orlando office the price will be higher!!
