I agree with you Andy, The Iphone followers do seem to be sheep in sheep's clothing.
A chap here at work has just got one - to listen to his music on!!! Hardly ever uses the Inet or phones anyone but he wanted to look good in front of his mates - how pathetic!
There are FAR better phones out there on the market and with the Android operating systems being used on many of these said phones, the Iphone 'closed market' App's are soon gonna be bottom dollar compared with.

I have just upgraded from the BB 9000 to a Dell Streak. It's awesome!
    The BB was Pants!

The "AndChat" app also works well on the Android for the IRC chat. Doesn't seem to drain the battery as bad as using the browser either.

Bump. Hey guys how are things going for you using PL via iPhone and iPad?

I am still trying to find the most efficient way of uploading photos to stop me being so tardy with posting pics in my build post.

I was just looking at taptalk on the AppStore and it said "super quick photo uploads"

Is anyone currently using taptalk on iPad or iPhone to access PL?

Do you recommend it? Are there still any blaring limitations?

    Cheers

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Hi swami thanks for that. I just tried using the mobile profile but I couldnt see where you can post pics.

I've gotten used to using the full site on my iphone and ipad. It's not being able to post pics from my phone easily that is bugging me the most. I can do it via photobucket but its seems sort of a work around way of doing it.

I believe the only ideal way is if there is a vbulletin board compatible iphone app which has a corresponding server module to facilitate a seemless experience. Ideally the app would have photo library integration (like other iPhone apps) and you could just post to the forum directly.

Unfortunately I know not of this. I too would be keen as there are times when doing the camera, laptop, iPad juggle is less than ideal.

I'm afraid to have PL on my iPhone.... I waste too much time checking in as it is.

Too true Brad allthough, I find I've got a very little amount of time i can be in front of my computer. If I get my PL fix while I'm mobile, it frees me up to concentrate on getting some work done while I'm on my notebook.

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it
