This is amazing news. Two duels for me too please

I'm getting a little bit worried though cause I'm thinking
that very soon a cheap Chinese manufacturer is goin to start building very cheap full blue projectors and it's goin to make every pub bar and club go out and buy these lasers. Then all of us laserist are gonna struggle for work.

Has anyone else had the same worries?

    No.
It's not what you've got; it's how you use it...

Yes I do agree mate I just think it will take alot of the wow factor out of the full colour projector. Before now we have primarily seen green lasers so people have got more used to seeing a green laser. When a full colour laser is used there is a much bigger wow factor.

Now with blue being amazingly cheap I think more rgb lasers are going to spring up. I just think that over time people will become used to seeing full colour lasers.

Saying that u can see a rubbish laser show with multiple watt lasers but a very good well controlled one with low power lasers.

I just have a feeling that the more ignorant party goer doesn't see what we see and when loads of rgb systems are about it will become the norm.

Only time will tell. It may be a good thing though cause it will mean we will all have to work harder to produce exceptional shows.

That is a good point and something I'd live to see! The art isn't just the beam anymore, it's what is done, (as daniel said) the value is transitioning from the hardware to the artist.

Still, the 'wow' factor of "OMG, this place has LASERS!" will probably drop like a brick

People *will* need to invest more into creating quality shows, and possibly, the laserists may shift more towards the corporate presentation and mobile industry and away from the dance hall markets.

In my book, that's a good thing, because a great corporate presentation will get your bills paid FAST.

Cyl lenses are aligned in blocks.
Hi DrLava, I also just found out it should be possible to get 0,7mrad, the funny thing is you need to put the collimator slightly out of focus to get the optimal results.

The lenses I can get have a loss of <1% (typical 0,5%) whats the loss on yours?
