Whoa... Wimington, NC... That brings back memories

I was a passanger on the Virgin Atlantic flight from Miami to London Heathrow that had to make an emergency landing there a couple of years ago, apparently, (we found out afterwards) there was a Saniflo unit on one of the toilets that was expelling sufficient smoke to set off all the fire alarms in the hold. We were 300 miles out over the Atlantic when we had to turn round due to the rear of the plane starting to fill with smoke. AT that point the pilot didn't know it was just smoke, they had to assume the worst that there was an actual fire on board... Scary stuff!!. The plane staff were preparing us for a ditch into the sea . Seems you guys hadn't seen a mega sized jumbo jet land on that airstrip before, we became something of celebrities in the newspaper the next day .

I have to say the people we met during our brief 24 hour stayover were absolutely brilliant and did everything they could to make us welcome. I particularly remember the very nice staff at the place where we stayed (I think it was the Holiday Inn) and also at a steakhouse around the corner where I had a MEGA steak for lunch.

It seemed a really nice place and i'd love to return one day under different circumstances.

If you are interested in getting a free license for Spaghetti at SELEM please find me at the event and let me know. I have come up with a few restrictions that I hope you find fair.

Please,
(1) Paid attendees only, not guests. I have to draw the line somewhere. If you bring a truckload of friends you will all have to share.

(2) Come talk to me in person. I'll be there all 3 days so there will be plenty of time to find me. I'll need to get some info to create a license but I basically just want to meet you, find out what kind of stuff you are interested in, answer questions, etc.

(3) This is only for those who don't already have a license. But if you already have one and want another come see me anyway. Maybe we can haggle a deal.

Feel free to contact me ahead of time to give me your info. I'll need your email address and your Spaghetti serial number that appears in the application after you install it. You'll still need to come see me at SELEM but I will have your license file ready so that you can use it, make fun of it, or whatever you want. If you do not send me your info ahead of time I can not guarantee that I will be able to create a license at the event and may have to send one to you once I return home.
