    Default And thus it begins

I just received a few more projectors, and noticed that the serial number changed from the b032cjaf08-07xxxx to b032cjaf08-12xxxx (depending on how many projectors have been sold its possible that they are just up to that large of a number, but I doubt it)--but more importantly I found this waiting inside:

I wonder what prompted the change? I suspect it is people buying them and sending them back for warranty, but it could be any number of things.

Also worth noting is that the hand written 'grade' on the array has changed form, instead of A or B it is now SN or AN (presumably there are more), the hand written number seems more or less the same as before (7, 17, or 27), and the printed code on the array fits the same form as before.

Interesting. Any other differences (glue, etc)
I assume the easiest way to open it is to cut a slot in the screw head instead of trying to find a driver that fits..

I didn't notice any other changes, although I didn't go digging into the projector very far. It looks like they simply gave the girls on the line some new screws to assemble the arrays with.

Also worth noting is that I had one array which had a B grade, but the new screws, so the grading change did not occur at the same time as the switch.

Oh yes, the cowardly NON STANDARD SCREW trick. I wonder how much the beltway bandit consultant charged them to tell them about that one????... It has been done before, ie Mobolaser used it. But only One (1) screw, how cheap! Not even blue loktite?

    lol I you dude

should I worry about you coming after my mobolazers next?

although in all fairness I think the non-standard screw trick is ok for preventing access to laser radiation no?

so if you have already extracted the module you can already get exposed... seems like they put the screw in the wrong place lol
