    hey gary i find the 405nm aixiz glass is fine for goofing around, theres news that aixiz have a new glass lens thats better for 445nm but so far the aixiz glass 405nm gives the best beam for $$ and after prism correction is ment to be very nice, not that you want to mess with prisms, ,btw dont try the plastic ones past 300mw they melt fast

    yes just a standard aixiz plasic lens.

    and no melting yet

    beam is ok this is only a temporary thing for a show next week. i couldnt live with this beam all the time.

    Looks rather nice.

    Really makes me want to get off my tail and install 2 x 445's into mine, replacing the 2 x 405's currently in there.

    I installed my 445 this weekend too. I set up my projector for the 4th. The neighbors loved it. I ran beam shows all night. It really looked amazing with the smoke from the fireworks in the air.
