Mine is a special Rum. I think you'll like it. I brought it last year, but I held it and made people ask for it since I didn't have much. I plan to bring more this year.

I use it for everything audio related that requires quad cable its awesome stuff, balanced audio, headphone cables etc... for regular shielded twisted pair (unbalanced audio, permanent installs) I use Canare cause its a bit cheaper and thinner

A 50 ft DMX cable should be enough to hit either side of the stage. The stage is only 26 ft wide at the opening (proscenium) at the front.

Someone volunteered to bring some Ethernet cable to run from the office to the stage. Looks like that run will be around 230 ft or so. Anyone remember who was going to bring the cable?

Sorry, I'll make sure you get some this year. I was sort of walking around in a daze since it was my first SELEM.

Me too. coupled with the fact I had been awake for the prior 36 hours with work schedule and tending the smoker.

I'll try to remember to bring some pictures where we can continue the discussion from last year.

Angry My Schedule & equipment update....

    DZ argon lumia projector (stand-alone)
    Chinese DMX "Nebulaser" (Bliss-light 'ish)
    Mackie 1202 12-ch mixer
    (2) speaker / light stands with bounce mirrors
    Portable SkeetaScrim stand (10' x 10')
    Antari Z-300 Fazer

    New show contributions:

    Custom beams - none
(unless you count the partially-completed TSO show I started working on LAST year.... )

Graphics (Mike Dunn variety, secured - which means no sharing - sorry!) -
    1 each: Pink Floyd, Santana, Collective Soul;
    3 each: U2

    Hey guys -

Due to a series of recent events -
topped off by the fact that I start an Alaska / Washington business trip in the morning that keeps me out of the loop until the 18th or 19th -
I'll need to heavily modify my equipment list.

The biggest change is I probably will NOT be bringing any projectors - just not enough free time to get everything done this year!

We still plan to try to head that way on the 20th, but it will probably be late afternoon, at the earliest, before we can get there.

I still plan to bring my laptop and QM2000, so I'll still have several Mike Dunn / First Light Laser graphics shows available for viewing.

As far as the other gear - smoke machine, scrim stand, bounce mirror stands, etc. - I can probably bring whatever is needed, as long as it really IS needed!
Buffo / Allthat - please confirm off of my original list what you think will be used, and I'll make every effort to get it there. Just keep in mind that the gear may not be available until Saturday AM.

Enough bad vibes for now - gotta' go pack for the tundra...

    Now for the mood reset.....
    RR

Metrologic HeNe 3.3mw Modulated laser, 2 Radio Shack motors, and a broken mirror.
    1979.
    Sweet.....

    Hey Randy;

Damn, that sucks dude. OK, things you can strike from the to-go list for sure:

    Skeeta scrim and stand
    Mixer
    Lumia projector
    Fazer
    Nebulaser

We should have those things covered. I know someone else was bringing another mixer, and I have a small bliss-light clone that I'll be bringing, so we're cool on that. I'll also be bringing my skeeta scrim and stand. We can live without the Lumia rig (can always put a wheel in front of someone's projector if we need one), and I'm sure we'll have enough fog.

Now: about your projector... Are you sure you can't bring it? I thought you had it all put back together already? Or did something break? I had plans for that thing, dude! Seriously, if there was one thing I wanted you to bring (besides yourself) it was your projector... (If it's broken, maybe we can fix it at the event... Stranger things have happened!)

Also, re: the bounce mirrors and stands. If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to have those present. Not exactly sure how it's going to work, but I'm thinking about setting them up in the balcony and aiming Flecom's mobolaser rigs at them. With 20 turrets on each one to play with, that's a lot of targets!

If you arrive Friday afternoon, we'll help you unload your gear before you go to the Trotthouse. If you get there right at 5 PM, we can still unload your stuff, but we'll have to set it up Saturday morning. (That's OK though, I can probably get us in early for some fast setup and tweaking...)

Give me a call sometime this week and we'll chat...

    Adam
