Johan, I think you may be giving people false hope here !

Sure you can order, but Andy has only just pointed out that, VERY few people have ordered definitively to date, which means you can order then you must WAIT!!!

This is EXACTLY what Andy is proposing we all do, without having to commit to the order until the results are guaranteed or at the least predictable!

Sure you are impatient , so am I, but please don't confuse our collective impatience with Andy's commercial motivation.

As he has clearly explained, PART OF THE REASON WE HAVE TO WAIT IS THE LACK OF PROFIT MARGIN INVOLVED !

Keep on trucking Andy !

While we are waiting, we have no financial "risk" !

And I personally am VERY grateful for this opportunity to hitch a ride on Andy's bicycle even if he is still learning how to sort out the steering.

andy bought already a little less then 100 diodes. There is a reason for that. Also he mentioned that there is still alot of testing to do to find out wich optics to use for collimating the diode.He mentioned that he is quite busy with other stuff since he is a company and has to make a living out of it. I only suggested to have more people who can do the tests for the bennefit of us all. Andy could have waited too to include the little less then 100 with the groupbuy. If there are 10 people have 1 diode then there is 10 times more of a chance that we find out what the optics should be. So i don,t give people false hope now and i never will.Since allot of people want the diode its maybe just better to have more people that can test them. That,s a suggestion not giving False hope. Most of the people who are willing to take the risk that they are useless for showuse at the end are well aware of the risk.

We have orders for less than the 100 diodes that we need. Ordered as in quantity of diodes people want now even without the test results. We need to order 100 to keep the price as it is.

Of course it is but we need to order 100 to have the low price.

If we order lower volume the price will be 178 euros each + shipping which will be max 10 euros in Europe.

Anyone want to do this to get a handful of test units each PM me and I will get onto it right away.
