Do you think I´m safe with 4.5V? or even 5V?
    Thanks

I think you are safe sticking with the Manufacturers Voltage
    specifications...

I've exceeded the manufacturer's Voltage specs a few times
with different types of Lasers and had mixed results...
Some worked great... and some died...

But to take the risk not to heed the Specs... that risk was my
    own choice...

    Tested with 4.5V
All 3 battery indicator lights are lit (they were also with 3.4V, but dimmer)
The beam is just like when the battery is full.

I don't know man; everybody has Photoshop these days. Might need a picture with your better half holding up like a light saber to fully prove you have it...

I wonder if a kind soul would have a power meter at the forthcoming UKLEM to measure such a unit ...........
