I suggest You go back to first post in this thread, it states approximate voltage compliance. And once You know that 445 diodes accept 1A, but are ran in Casio at lower current, it seems possible to run three LEDs 24V 1A each on the heatsink using original PS.

yeah after pouring over pictures and whatnot lastnight i pretty sure all i will need is a high brightness Blue led....which i will get blue and green light from via the phosphor wheel, and with the red factory led in there,i should be ok...of course this is all just theory right now..

thanks everyone for your advice and comments.

Of course! Sorry, you didn`t need to isolate pin #4 on flexible wire...
    I checked it.

    Thanks!

I think in a short time we will have all info needed to run them with blue leds and have functional projectors! Exciting!

    Keith.
The best way is to stick down the tape on the pads, I have made so.

... or cut socket side pin with pliers then unsolder the remaint (s) ?
... or bend up while unsoldering

I thought I was doing exactly what you were showing. Especially when I got on my fourth projector.

Thanks for the update I will try again tonight.

if a video could be made showing how to do this..oh man it would be a god send!..if even a picture showing the location of the contact pads would help.(if there is one i will be looking for it so please forgive me if i double up on topics already shown in pictures or discussed)

.now with these mods will the function buttons/remote functions still work?..like how to get to the menu to adjust color (that ones iffy) or sharpness and contrast and format?

DTR....let me know how you fair with that and what your technique was and if it was successful...have you previously modded these projectors for laser-less projection before?

i wish i could download this forum directly to my brain! i need and want all the info in it.=)
