I just can't see paying for something that isn't used. I'll keep the domain name registered in case I want to run the site again. There's some useful information there, I just don't know if it's beneficial to anyone. But yeah, between parenthood and keeping the trains running, I just don't have the time to keep up with the site anymore.

    Thanks, I already have these.
I was more talking about color calibration then color blanking timing, like using a colorbar to calibrate colors/grayscale on a TV. Is there such ILDA recommend pattern?

U usually just use all the pangolin test patterns, not the greatest but work.

Here is what we all need, but I have a feeling it will be a months or more of salary.

This is exactly what I'm talking about
I sent them an email to inquire pricing... I wonder how much loss do you get with that little sensor mirror/window.

Done properly with something better then a simple "V" AR coat on the sampler I'm willing to bet less then .2%. I'd still buy a expensive green laser or a green laser bigger then needed by say 25% so you have some headroom for the laser response curve.

Pangolin has the greyscale lin pattern, and the three color wheels.

You might ask DrLava or James Lehman to make you a gradient, or hand edit a ILDA file in a hex editor.

In this day and age I know that is absurd, but if you wish to be absolutely sure there are no evil software manipulations or even good intentioned ones...., at least in creation of the frame...

.2% or even 2% is a good trade off. I do use an over powered supposedly good green laser, my projector is all Kvant, green included but it still suffers from diodes vs. DSSP linearity response in time and brightness. I kind of like the IRIS color system, it seems to alleviate all of this issue, time delay and color palett and last pricing I could find from the 2009 ILDA Conference Workshop page was 550 Euros, not cheap but still worth consideration given how much we are spending in that silly hobby of ours anyway
I work in the CG/SFX field for more than 25 years so I'm a little biased when it comes to colors matching and accuracy.

Thanks Steve. For now I mostly use these patterns which helps a good deal. The first one originally was biased towards red but I'm using a monochrome version of it.
